Clario (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Clario – AI Interview Coach mobile application (the “App”).

  • Voice recordings: audio answers you record when practicing interview questions.

  • Text content: transcriptions of your answers generated from your voice recordings.

b) Automatically collected information

  • Usage data: app interactions, feature usage, session counts.

  • Device information: device type, operating system version, app version.

  • Subscription status: information related to in-app purchases and subscriptions.

We do not collect precise location data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and operate the App.

  • Transcribe your voice answers and generate AI-based feedback.

  • Manage usage limits and subscriptions.

  • Improve app performance and user experience.

  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

3. Audio Data Processing

  • Voice recordings are processed solely to provide transcription and feedback.

  • Audio files are not stored permanently.

  • Audio data is deleted automatically after processing, unless temporary storage is required for debugging or error recovery.

  • Transcriptions may be stored to allow you to review past sessions.

4. AI Services

Clario uses third-party AI services to:

  • Transcribe audio recordings.

  • Analyze speech clarity, structure, and language quality.

Your data is sent securely to these services only for the purpose of providing the requested functionality and is not used to identify you personally.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

  • Payments are processed by Apple App Store.

  • Clario does not store or process your payment information.

  • Subscription status is used only to determine feature access.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

We may share data with:

  • Service providers (e.g. hosting, AI processing, analytics) strictly necessary to operate the App.

  • Legal authorities if required by law.

All service providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.

7. Data Retention

  • Audio recordings: deleted immediately after processing.

  • Transcriptions and usage data: retained only as long as necessary to provide the service.

  • You may request deletion of your data at any time.
